PATRICK DRONEY RELEASES VIDEO OF “BROOKLYN” WITH YOUTUBE

Monday, October 29, 2018 - 12:00pm

After three shows in New York City, dynamic pop/soul singer-songwriter Patrick Droney shares an intimate, unplugged performance video of “Brooklyn,” see it here on YouTube

Droney’s “Brooklyn” reminisces about a relationship set against the backdrop of New York City - where the now 26-year-old spent several years as a student at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music.

“New York is more than a place, it’s a feeling,” Droney says. “It was a special moment to be able to come back home and play this music for the fans. I’m looking forward to doing it again. It felt right to cap the week by putting out this version of a song that really speaks to my time spent in this city.”

The stripped-down version was filmed this summer at Ocean Way Studios in Nashville as part of YouTube’s Pop-Up Sessions.

Last week’s New York homecoming saw Droney perform at “TIDAL X BROOKLYN” at Barclay’s Center on October 23, as well as selling out Rockwood Music Hall, performing two shows -  October 24 and 26.
