Ole Red is set to launch a new competition series, “Ole Red Battle of the Bands,” on Wednesday, August 19. The weekly competition will take place across all Ole Red locations, giving fans in Nashville, Gatlinburg, Tishomingo and Orlando the opportunity to experience country artists from across the nation and vote for their favorite. The winning band will take home bragging rights as well as a monetary prize.
The program will take place each Wednesday evening beginning at 7/6 CT p.m. Each band will have the opportunity to play two songs including one original and one cover. The performances from each venue will be livestreamed into the others, giving guests at each location the opportunity to “visit” all the Ole Red venues in one night. At the end of the evening, the audience at each participating location will go online to the venue’s website to cast their vote. Guests will receive a special offer just for participating in the voting process.
The series will kick off this Wednesday with Dismal River Boys performing from Ole Red Nashville, Monroeville performing from Ole Red Gatlinburg, Telina Rudd and The Red Clay Gypsies performing from Ole Red Tishomingo and Bryan Malpass performing from Ole Red Orlando.
