Last Thursday, April 15, country superstar and Opry member Blake Shelton made his first-ever visit to Ole Red Orlando for a full-band performance for a limited number of frontline workers and special guests. On the heels of that special appearance, Shelton dropped by Ole Red Nashville Saturday night, April 17, surprising unsuspecting fans with a full band performance and reinforcing you never know what surprises await at Ole Red.
The two stops in as many days marked Shelton's first full-band performances in more than a year after the COVID-19 pandemic brought touring and live entertainment to a standstill. Tearing through hits like "Ol Red," "Austin" and current single "Minimum Wage," the 90 minute set – like his Orlando appearance – was an unofficial rehearsal for his performance on Sunday’s ACM awards.
With locations in Tishomingo, Oklahoma; Nashville, Tennessee; Gatlinburg, Tennessee and Orlando, Florida; Ole Red continues to prioritized health and safety of guests and staff while featuring a made-from-scratch southern-inspired menu and live music throughout the week.
