Monument Records recording artist, Walker Hayes, is a singer/songwriter originally from Mobile, Alabama. His song “Fancy Like” became a viral sensation in summer 2021 thanks to a TikTok video featuring Hayes and his daughter Lela. The video has been viewed 28 million times and was incorporated into Applebee’s current ad campaign, playing off Walker and Lela’s fun video. Additionally, there have been over 544,000 “uses” of the song on TikTok wherein other users make their own videos with the song. The juggernaut continued with “Fancy Like” notching over 100 million streams and becoming the fastest country song to be certified RIAA platinum in this decade. Interest remained high as the song has been Shazam-ed nearly 500,000 times. Busting boundaries, a recent remix features pop star Kesha lending a new verse. Hayes’ debut album boom., co-produced by multi-GRAMMY Award winning producer and songwriter Shane McAnally, led Billboard to praise his “personal, soul-bearing storylines; rolling rhymes; and Macklemore-like cadence.” The 10-track album includes the RIAA & Music Canada certified, Double-Platinum, Top 20 hit “You Broke Up With Me.”

Hayes’ most recent releases “I Hope You Miss Me” and “Make You Cry,” have gone on to be streamed over half a billion times. As the Washington Post stated “Hayes has broken into the mainstream by sounding different.” The proud father of six has performed his music to national audiences on Good Morning America and The Today Show and joined the likes of Kelsea Ballerini, Dan + Shay, Thomas Rhett, and Old Dominion on tour. In January 2019, he set out on his headlining, Dream On It tour selling out venues across the country.
